if I ssh to the server having problems and open a mysql connection to the mysql server there are no problems.
when the server "wakes" up after a reboot its also doing like 100.000 inserts it seams without the mysql server reporting errors (if I enable the sql logging of sql statements it seams all inserts are run when the scanner is booted - have not countet... )
then it stops later - dont know if its simply flushing all the inserts and then in the mean time the scanner is finding it cannot log the new messages so its appending to the temp db instead - dont know the code, the setup of this temp db and so on...

Connection between them ? It sounds to me that you are having mysql insert issues.
